Ejaa Kizito, from the town of Arua
“A 7-year-old boy and a twin born into a family of three brothers were among the beneficiaries of the training course. The child, Ejaa Kizito, from the town of Arua, sustained a fracture in his right leg when a bicycle fell on him while he was one year and three months old. The fracture was later managed by the hospital, but as fate would have it, the leg went gangrenous and the cast fell off along with the now gangrenous part of the leg, according to Ejaa's mother. Brenda, Kizito's mother, would later learn from Kizito's teacher about the rehabilitation center in Bidi bidi and seek rehabilitation for her son, who was left on crutches after the accident that paralyzed the child. Kizito's happy mother said, “I am thrilled that my son can walk on his own legs again.”
